Etracker-eSTPE Audit Library Database™
Using a sophisticated computer program for data analysis and storage (eSTPE™), Encotech, Inc. has conducted over 150 opening steam path audits that accurately identify the extent of all steam path degradation that contributes to reduction in performance. This database provides a unique source of information for Encotech personnel to quickly determine the expected cause of any observed reduction in an operating machine's performance. The loss data for about 100 of the more recent audits has been entered into an Access™ database for ready examination and statistical evaluation. Work continues to update the older files and make measurement information available for ready access.
This accumulation of detailed and quantified performance information in one location is a truly unique resource that greatly augments Encotech's ability to assist in diagnostic activities for operating turbine-generator sets.
This database provides a source of information that is used as input for developing many of the examples in the Etracker-Degradation Symptoms Library
The detailed internal turbine geometry information that is required for production of the Etracker-Model is often not readily available. The Audit Library Database includes this information for all the units included in the database. It is normally possible to identify a unit close enough in size and other characteristics to the unit being modeled to obtain the needed data.
