Encotech Engineering, PC offers independent review of bids and proposals for all types of power plant upgrades, redesign, etc. As an independent, third party voice, Encotech will not try to "sell" you, but rather present to you the best available option and be available to meet with you to discuss our findings.
Steam turbine development is an on-going process and the use of powerful new tools, such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD), has resulted in some significant improvements in turbine-generator efficiency. Many owners have taken advantage of the most recent up-grade offerings of manufacturers, to achieve greater output and lower heat rate.
Encotech is prepared to offer services in support to the following activities:
- Power Plant Uprate Evaluation. Using Etracker-PE.
- Preparation of technical specification for Bid Documents.
- Selection of appropriate testing procedures to ascertain that vendors, in fact, met their promises or guarantees.
- Determination of the expected uncertainty of the test results from the selected testing procedure.
- Evaluation of the proposals submitted by the vendors requested to bid on the project.
- Participating in and/or witnessing the testing activities.
- Nuclear moisture separator upgrade and evaluation.
