Ancillary Service Analysis
for Deregulated Electricity Market
Encotech (under contract with EPRISolutions) has developed, implemented, and reported on methodologies required to determine your fixed and variable costs of providing Ancillary Services. (They can be up to 10% of operating cost) EPRI Solutions, in alliance with Encotech now offers this service to all electric power producers.
Encotech has completed a two-year EPRI contract to develop and demonstrate measurement of Ancillary Service according to NERC recommendations. Proven methods are available to become a certified supplier and to measure the quantity delivered:
